RETRAINING IN THE FIELD OF FEA: ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT STATE

Abstract

Purpose of the study. The article is dedicated to the study of the human resource potential of enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity as a key factor in the success of entrepreneurial structures in the face of current challenges. It examines the relationship between the level of professional training of employees and the effectiveness of foreign economic activities. In the context of growing competition in international markets, the quality preparation of foreign economic specialists becomes strategically important for enhancing the competitiveness of Russian companies. The research includes an analysis of the current state of the educational system in the Russian Federation, existing training and retraining programs, as well as the requirements imposed on specialists in the field of foreign economic activity. Key competencies necessary for the successful functioning of employees on the international stage are discussed, including knowledge of legal frameworks, logistics, currency regulation, and analytical skills. The article highlights the importance of combining educational skills and argues that a specialist in the field of foreign economic activity should be specifically oriented toward the area of activity (trade, business in the IT sector, legal direction, service provision, etc.). The findings of the analytical study emphasize the gap between theoretical training and practical skills needed to operate in the dynamic environment of foreign economic activity. Recommendations for optimizing educational programs, implementing modern technologies, and developing practical skills of specialists are justified, which will allow enterprises to minimize risks and enhance the effectiveness of foreign economic activities. The necessity of establishing a system for continuous professional development in foreign economic activity is emphasized as a means to ensure sustainable growth and successful integration of Russian companies into the international arena.
