Abstract

The article examines the process of optimizing warehouse technologies that ensure efficient storage and processing of goods. It considers the key principles of organizing warehouse space, including zoning by frequency of demand for products, compliance with the rules of product neighborhood and rational placement of goods taking into account their liquidity and dimensions. Particular attention is paid to a differentiated approach to the location of high-turnover and largesized goods in "hot" zones, which allows minimizing time and labor costs. The importance of taking into account the physical and chemical characteristics of goods when developing storage standards is emphasized, as well as the need to adapt warehouse processes to the specifics of the stored products. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the systematic implementation of the principles considered contributes to an increase in the productivity of warehouse operations and a decrease in logistics costs.
