Research on the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the foreign economic activity of the state

Abstract

The article examines the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in foreign economic activity (FEA), highlights their importance for economic development and sustainable growth. The main focus is on identifying the factors influencing the activity of SMEs in international trade and assessing their economic, innovative and social effects. The study is based on an analysis of the existing literature, statistical data on the dynamics of SME participation in foreign economic activity and case studies of successful examples of SME participation in foreign economic activity are considered on the example of a specific country. The article also analyzes the problems and barriers faced by SMEs when entering international markets. In conclusion, recommendations for solving problems and overcoming barriers are proposed.
