ESSENCE AND NECESSITY OF DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF ENTERPRISES OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY

Abstract

The article examines the evolution of the concept of “strategy”, which made it possible to better understand the essence of the strategic behavior developed by the enterprise and understand its structural content and the multifaceted nature of the development process; approaches to defining the content of the concept “development strategy” and “strategic alternatives” have been studied, on the basis of which two approaches to defining the essence of the concept “development strategy” have been identified; stages of the strategy selection process are proposed.
