Abstract

This paper discusses the role and functions of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) manager in the activities of modern organizations. The types of responsibility and the main phases of the society's perception of the social responsibility of business are singled out. The results of a survey on the competencies of a manager at the Boston Central College of Corporate Citizenship have been analyzed. The main responsibilities of a CSR manager have been studied.
