Comparison of Approaches to Attracting Foreign Investment in Countries with Different Levels of Economic Development

Abstract

This article examines the impact of sanction policies on the foreign economic activities of BRICS countries in the context of global instability. An analysis of various types of sanction restrictions has been conducted, and an assessment of the vulnerability of each BRICS member country has been made. Special attention is given to adaptation strategies, including the restructuring of logistics chains, the development of e-commerce, the transition to transactions in national currencies, and the creation of independent financial infrastructure. The conclusion is drawn that sanctions have become a driver of integration within BRICS, contributing to the formation of a multipolar economic system and strengthening the technological sovereignty of the «ten» countries.
