Training future tour guides in higher education institutions: developing a speech culture

The article discusses the training of future tour guides with a focus on the development of their speech culture. The article describes the features of such training in the academic discipline "Guided tours" (non-humanitarian field "Tourism and Service") developed at the Institute of Languages and Culture of the North-East of the Russian Federation. Examples of control and individual texts of excursions are given; tasks that help to overcome the barrier of communication, interact with the audience and form skills that are necessary for developing and implementing excursions, communicating and working in a team.References
