Abstract

The article substantiates the need to return to pedagogical terminology (in the Russian language) some paired single-root concepts to distinguish the process and the result. Such kinds of concepts are seen to be particularly important for the educational activities like “upbring”, “educate”, “train” and “teach”. Methodological deadlocks generated by mixing single-root concepts are analyzed. The conceptual matrix for distinguishing the categories related to the process and result is proposed
