Keywords:

The analysis of educational policy as a managing factor in the education system is based on the diversity and potential contradictions of the transformation processes occurring within this system. The purpose of pedagogical analysis on educational policy lies in comparing ideas about what should be, what is, and what is possible, which allows us to assess the education system's readiness for change. The article examines the evolution of value orientations in schools, the priority tasks of current educational policy, and the nature of unmanageable processes in the general education system. A crisis of relations in school education is noted. Schools, as institutions of general education, are losing the trust of families. It is concluded that in modern conditions, there is a choice between educational strategies "prosperous school" and "responsible school."References
