The role of a mentor in developing the culture of health and healthy lifestyle in children and youth

The article characterizes the role of a mentor in developing the culture of health and healthy lifestyle in children and youth by means of academic and extracurricular activities at different levels of education. In the context of the topic under study, the concepts of "health culture" and "mentoring" are considered. The term "mentor in the culture of health and healthy lifestyle" is introduced, and the possible activities of this specialist are described, taking into account the age characteristics and interests of students. The authors present the results of a survey of schoolchildren and students of different age categories conducted in Krasnoyarsk in order to identify the level of students’ interest in developing the culture of health and healthy lifestyle.References
