Education of the mongolian traditional values “nomad mind”

Abstract

In modern Russia, serious efforts are being made to instill traditional values in schoolchildren: the subjects “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics” (2010), “Talking about Important Things” (2022) were introduced, the Russian movement of children and youth “Movement of the First” (2022) and etc. Teachers and researchers face the difficult task of determining what forms of work and activities to use when instilling traditional Russian values at different levels of education, and what the content of educational and extracurricular activities should be.The experience of instilling traditional values in Mongolia may be of scientific interest to Russian researchers, since it has a clearly defined axiological basis and systemic practices rooted in the educational process. Using the example of the traditional national value “nomadic mind”, a system of measures to strengthen traditional values in the minds of children and youth is shown: from the level of state policy to the content of a school textbook.
