The purpose of the article is to formulate proposals for improving the state migration policy in the Chelyabinsk region in the system of prevention of extremism. The study is based on statistical data on the Chelyabinsk region, according to which this region has been actively involved in the processes of international migration. The paper states that the current geopolitical situation dictates new rules for the development of the Russian state, which may result in the increase of the state’s demand for labor resources. Interregional migration in the Chelyabinsk region demonstrates a negative balance of migration of the indigenous population and in this regard, the migration situation in the region may change signifcantly due to the attraction of foreign labor as a forced measure of the state. It is recognized that there is a need to develop proactive measures to improve the state migration policy in the Chelyabinsk region in the system of prevention of extremism in order to prevent extremist crimes, as well as criminality based on the conficts between the migrants and the local population.Downloads
