Problems of Combating Crime in the Field of Illicit Traffcking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors on the Internet

Abstract

This article examines the social phenomenon of “narcosis” at the present stage of the society’s development, its impact on the state of crime in the feld of illicit traffcking, the dynamics of its development, as well as the problems of countering crime in the feld of illicit traffcking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors.These problems are caused by the development of new methods of sale, which are carried out on the Internet. According to the author, the pandemic was one of the reasons that contributing to the development of illegal sales in a non-contact mode, as well as via the employment of IT technologies.
