Concession as a Mechanism for Development of the ‘Arctic Tourism’ Market Segment on the Example of the Nenets Autonomous District

Abstract

The article discusses one of the varieties of nature tourism, the Arctic tourism, as a promising direction for the development of concession projects. The key problems of the Russian Arctic are given, which hinder the development of tourism (limited transport accessibility of Arctic territories, underdeveloped transport infrastructure, etc.). A model is proposed for the implementation of an investment.
