Abstract

He article deals with the problem of the implementation of competitive selection in the public service. The main attention is paid to the study of the role of competitive selection in the formation of the personnel potential of the state civil service. The connection with other personnel technologies and the performance of other functions besides the formation of the personnel composition are emphasized.
