Abstract

The article discusses the concept of counterfeit products, the problems encountered in the fight against counterfeit goods. The experience of foreign countries is given. Directions for conducting customs examination of intellectual property are determined. The features of declaring goods containing intellectual property are shown. The role of customs authorities in preventing the movement of counterfeit products across the customs border of the EAEU is examined. The customs statistics in the field of protection of intellectual property rights and the detection of counterfeit products are presented. Criteria are formulated for the detection by customs authorities of goods that have characteristic signs of counterfeit goods. An integrated approach is proposed in the fight against counterfeit products, the identification and prevention of the import and export of counterfeit products.
