Abstract

This article describes the main theoretical approaches to determining the innovative potential of the territory, presents quantitative and qualitative characteristics of innovative processes and the degree of innovative activity of subjects in the Novgorod region. The authors identified the existing positive and negative trends in the management of innovative potential of the region, which allowed us to formulate directions for improving the management of potential based on the modernization of information technology infrastructure.
