Abstract

The article considers the role of personnel assessment in the formation of a municipal employee’s career as a stimulator of his professional and official promotion, suggests approaches to conducting personnel assessment based on the assessment of the number and quality of assignments performed by municipal employees, public services and functions, and calculating a generalizing indicator - the efficiency index of professional performance of municipal employees.
