Abstract

The article considers the system of public control in the field of housing and communal services (hereinafter - housing and communal services). The author emphasizes the main task of public control in the housing and public utilities sector as providing concrete assistance to people in solving problems associated with poor-quality housing and communal services and unscrupulous work of management companies. The authors of the article emphasized the active work of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, speaking with various modernization initiatives to attract the community to solve current problems of housing and communal services, as well as to build an effective interaction scheme for the full development of the economy on the ground.
