К ВОПРОСУ О ПРОСТРАНСТВЕННОМ РАЗВИТИИ РЕСПУБЛИКИ КАРЕЛИЯ

Abstract

The article puts forward the thesis that spatial planning allows to identify new competitive advantages of municipalities and settlements. The author proves that many municipal regions and settlements of the Republic of Karelia can use the special location and specific characteristics of socio-economic development in the past and in the present more effectively and efficiently. It is substantiated that using of spatial planning allows to develop inter-municipal cooperation, increase the attractiveness of the territory as a place of residence and to run business and visiting, as well as improving the quality of life of the population.
