Abstract

The paper deals with the main problems and cognitive factors of the formation of the theory of management, its genesis, philosophical and cultural aspects. The author analyzes the elements that should be understood by the management philosophy, directions of research activities, the definition of values correlating with the activities of the manager, the evaluation of management approaches and actions in terms of ethical and social significance.
