Abstract

The paper deals with the main problems and prospects of interaction between the authorities and small business in St. Petersburg, as well as the analysis of the role of small business in the innovative development of the city. The interaction of these two factors, based on the principles of partnership and transparency, is an important strategic perspective for the development of the region. The study of the experience of interaction between the authorities and small business by the example of St. Petersburg is a matter of scientific interest for different regions of Russia.
