Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of the main regulatory and legal acts governing the implementation of state policy in the field of training of workers and applied qualifications in Russia. The chronology of the development of the WorldSkills movement, its role and importance as an effective tool of public policy in this area are considered, a description of the work of the All-Russian Training Center for Professional Skill and the promotion of the prestige of working professions as a leading element in the implementation of strategic personnel tasks is given.
