Abstract

The paper deals with the analysis of the tourism potential of the Republic of Dagestan. The current state of indicators of the tourism development in the region and their dynamics has been studied. The main problems and directions of state policy in the field of regional tourism development are determined. The cluster mechanism peculiarities of the tourism-recreational complex organization of the North Caucasus region, problems and prospects for its implementation in the territory of the Republic of Dagestan are studied.
