Совершенствование форм и методов контроля деятельности органов власти и управления в ходе децентрализации государственной власти в современной России

Abstract

The paper notes that control and responsibility are not an end in themselves, they represent an instrument for increasing the importance of the authorities, strengthening their prestige in the eyes of the population both in the whole country and in its individual regions, as well as an instrument for increasing public credibility of the authorities in general. The goal of improving control over the authorities and administration activity in the process of decentralization of state power in modern Russia is to increase credibility of the authorities, as well as to improve the quality of life of the population of Russia. Nowadays there is a whole range of unresolved problems in the field of control over the authorities and administration activity. A systematic approach is needed to solve them as well as strict adherence to the proposed principles and directions for control improving.
