Abstract

In the article the assessment of the current state of financial literacy of the Russian population is presented. Special attention is paid to the recommendations and proposals contained in the government and policy documents, including issues of financial literacy of the population. In addition, the author's proposals for the introduction of new forms and methods of raising financial literacy of the Russian population are given.
