Abstract

The article examines the key specific characteristics of the sanatorium and resort sphere of the economy, and the role of enterprises in this industry in ensuring the quality of life of the population. It focused on the social effectiveness of the sanatorium organizations for forming a view about the need for balance between economic goals of the resorts as enterprises and their social objectives.
