Abstract

The article discusses the еvents of revolution and civil war in Russia of 1917-1920 influenced the rise of ideological and political level of highlanders, accelerated process of public. Different ideological directions of national and political movements in political thought of Kabarda and Balkaria began their formation during this period, the revolutionary-democratic direction being one of them, in line with the political elite of new Soviet type was formed.
