Abstract

One of the significant institutional innovations of the Strategy for the Spatial Development of the Russian Federation until 2025 was the introduction of the category of the so-called geostrategic territories of the country and an indication of the most significant “points of growth” of its economy. The approval of the principle of priority development for individual territories is one of the important instruments of the state policy of regional development.
