Abstract

In modern conditions, the task of successful functioning of the public administration system depends entirely on the professionalism of civil servants. The purpose of the article is to consider the evaluation functions as a factor in the development of professional competencies of civil servants. Attention is focused on the justification of the role of evaluation in ensuring the reliability of personnel technologies aimed at building the personnel potential of the public service.
