Abstract

The proposed study focuses on summarizing theoretical aspects of the governor’s power as a segment of contemporary Russian bureaucracy. Various concepts of bureaucracy are considered according to their time sequence and their features are provided. A modern notion of innovative bureaucracy is given, as well as the characteristics of governor’s power as a part of bureaucracy in modern Russia. The author offers conclusions on the notion of governor’s power reflecting the modern Russian bureaucracy.
