Abstract

The overview of approaches to the interpretation of the term «agglomeration» is presents. The characteristic of the agglomeration process in Russia in general and in the region of Kavkazskie Mineralnie Wodi is proposed. Specific features of emerging Kavminvodsky agglomeration are identify. The advantages and disadvantages of models of management of agglomerations as well as the possibility of their application in the region of Caucasian Mineral Waters, are analyzed.
